TWO weightlifters from SAW Cymru have been selected to compete for Wales in the Celtic Championships, being held in Ireland during the last weekend of October.
Anita Madan and Naomi Pearce, who have recently competed for Wales in Austria, will now lift again for their country against the best from Scotland and Ireland.
There will be 16 athletes from Wales in the team, accompanied by Welsh coach Simon Roach.
Anita is currently studying A Levels in STP, while Naomi not only trains at SAW, but also coaches at the centre.
Simon works for the National Governing Body as Sports Manager, is a Director of Weightlifting Wales and Head Coach at SAW Cymru.
