Senior Cup – Round Two
Neyland 2-3 Narberth

NARBERTH grabbed a terrific victory at Neyland to progress into the Senior Cup third round
Last season’s beaten finalists Neyland found themselves two goals adrift by half time.
Midway through the first period, Tony Evans drilled in a low shot from 20 yards past the outstretched Patrick Hannon for the first goal for the visitors.
Dylan Davies nipped in with the Bluebirds’ second goal after some neat build up had the Nomads defence chasing shadows.
Five minutes after the break the visitors went three-up, Dylan Blain striking a wicked right footed effort from 20yards crashing into the net.
At that stage it looked all over for the Nomads, but they rolled up their sleeves and got back in the tie when Scott Jones pounced from inside the six-yard box.
Fifteen minutes from full time Wayne Parry added a second for the Nomads, the striker hitting a shot into the roof of the net from an acute angle.
But the Nomads failed to get an equaliser as the Bluebirds clung on for a famous cup win at the Athletic Ground.
