Since January a group of Year 11 students in Milford Haven Secondary School have been working extremely hard with an initiative called 'Reach for the sky'.
The scheme aims to improve standards in the classroom and help individuals become a positive role model for younger peers.
The agreement with the boys involved was that if they met their targets and attended sessions with their mentor they would be treated to a first class and memorable tour of the Principality Stadium - guided by former Dragons, Ospreys and Welsh international rugby player Ian Gough.
During the tour they were lucky enough to visit the president’s box, attend a press conference in the Ray Gravell suite and also had the privilege of sitting in the seats in the home changing room.
At the end of the tour, Gough kindly showed the boys his prized possessions including his first and 50th caps - and his first Grand Slam medal.
Overall the whole experience was an amazing one for the students - and one which they will never forget.
