THE 44th annual Mathry Sporting Shoot (clay pigeon) takes place this month on Saturday, August 13th.
The event, that runs from 2-6pm, will take place at Church View Farm, Mathry, thanks to kind permission from Glyn Thomas.
Participants will compete for cash prizes in the following classes: Church View Hi-Gun; County; Open, Side by Side; Colt; Open Novice; Local Novice, Veteran.
This year, there will be a new President overseeing things, as Clive Lewins looks forward to his first Mathry shoot in the role.
Traditionally, the shoot attracts competitors from around the county and beyond, with around 200 taking part last year.
Following the event, the presentations will take place in the Mathry Farmers pub, with a buffet on offer for all those who are involved in the day.
