Narberth made sure of their best ever finish in the Championship as they secured second place with a 16-22 win at Tata Steel, with tries from Sean Jenkins, Rhys Lane, and Liam Hutchings - and seven points from the boot of Jonathan Rogers. Pontypool were crowned champions by beating Glamorgan Wanderers 22-3.

In Division One West, Whitland pulled six points clear of the bottom two with a 22-16 home win over relegation rivals Gowerton. A penalty try and scores from Lloyd Williams and Nico Setaro, who kicked seven points as well, saw The Borderers also prevail 22-16.

It was a long day for Crymych in Abersytwyth however, as The Preseli Men lost 31-7 with Lawrence Headlam scoring their try, and Rhys Davies converted.

In Division Two West, Haverfordwest would have been relegated yesterday had they lost at home to Tumble - but won a thrilling contest 29-27 with tries from Matthew Phillips, Kyle Hamer, Matthew Davies, and Jack Clancy. Danny Morgan kicked nine points - and The Blues are still alive,  although they will need an unlikely 15 points from their last three games and other results to go their way to stay up.

A depleted Fishguard meanwhile, went down 31-0 at Hendy.

In Division Three West A, a Jake Iles try and Geraint Jones conversion edged St Clears to a 7-0 win over Cardigan. The win puts The Carmarthenshire Saints on the brink of the title and promotion - they now lead Cardigan by 14 points in the table, but have finished their league fixtures while The Teifisiders have three left. So the only way the latter can take the title, is with three bonus point wins in their outstanding fixtures away to Milford Haven (April 8th), home to Pembroke (April 15th), and home to Pembroke Dock Harlequins (April 22nd).

Elsewhere,Craig Barnett enjoyed 43 points as Milford Haven beat Pembroke Dock Harlequins 82-0. The St Clears result means Milford's slim title hopes are over, but they cruised here as Barnett scored four tries and kicked 11 conversions, to go with other scores from Dan McClelland, Dan Birch (2), Alun Harries, Josh Thomas (2), Dean McSparron, and Gareth Cheshire.

Laugharne meanwhile, lost 26-23 in Tregaron with tries from Owain Thomas and Lewis Owen, and 13 points from the boot of Tom Jameson.
