SAUNDERSFOOT’S Powerboat World Champions were out in force last weekend unveiling their 2017 livery to media and sponsors ahead of their UK title defence campaign.

The boat certainly drew some attention in the morning sun at Milford Waterfront’s open day with some high winds making the sea conditions a little bit lively.

The Angle Lifeboat was also on display with members of the public being invited down to see the vessel whilst the Coleman Racing team zipped around a laid race course just outside the marina offering experience rides to guests and sponsors.

Daisy had to give up her seat for ITV Wales’ Ruth Wignall to experience first-hand what it’s like to be in the cockpit of the P1 Superstock panther reaching speeds in excess of 100kmh. The team are due to feature in the next series of Coast and Country.

Although the team were able to get some crucial testing in ahead of their first event in Denmark in June there’s still work to do so they’ll be out on the water again soon. Sam and Daisy would like to thank Darren Briggs of Crossways Garage, Neyland for kindly sponsoring the Launch Day, along with Milford Waterfront and Foam for their hospitality.
