A NETBALL tournament with a difference took place last month.
The Pembrokeshire Versatility Netball Tournament rounded off the 2016/17 season in style at Pembroke Leisure Centre.
The light hearted tournament gave all players involved the chance to finish their campaign in an enjoyable manner.
Overall, 47 players turned up to take part, and were three teams in the under 13/15 section, and two under 11 sides.
A versatility tournament means players change positions each time they play - giving individuals a chance to try different roles to what they are accustomed to.
Furthermore, all the players from league clubs were mixed into separate sides, and it paid dividends as games were played in a fantastic atmosphere.
The Players’ Player Shields for 2016/17 were also presented to the following winners:
Under 11s: Rhiannon Clapham (St. Davids); Under 13s: Libby Rands (Fishguard); Under 15s: Harriet Carter (Chaos).
League and tournament organisers issued a big thankyou to all the volunteers who helped run the tournament and supported the Pembrokeshire Junior Netball League throughout 2016/17.
