IT will be Whitland v St Ishmaels and Llangwm v Lawrenny in the Alec Colley Cup semi finals after the last eight matches were completed tonight.

At Llanrhian, Tish raced to 50-0 in just five overs, but were then slowed down after openers Steve Hartley, who was dropped three times in his 23, and Danny Richards (29), were dismissed.

And the home side then fought back impressively to leave Tish 74-6, with wickets for Tom Clark (3-28), Anthony John (1-26), and Karl Davies (2-32).

But an unbroken stand of 76 from Marc Devonald (34) and Jordan Milich (25) led Tish to 150-6 in their 22 overs, and they were helped by Llanrhian wastefully giving away 31 extras, including 23 wides.

The home side's reply was brief, as only opener RV Jones (22) made double figures as they were shot out for 47 inside 14 overs.

For Tish, Adam Davies took 3-23, Lenny Rees 1-10, Kevin Bowen 1-1, Ieuan Hawkins 1-3 - but it was Milish who starred with 4-7 in just two overs!

Also tonight, holders Whitland got past Cresselly by just 7 runs.

The visitors made 162-5, as Dan Newton made 45 not out, backed up by Greg Sleep (24) and Geraint Phillips (37).

For Cresselly, Mike Shaw (4-23) and Richard Harris (1-29) led the bowling.

Shaw also hit 46 in his side's chase, while Matthew Lewis (23),
Stefan Jenkins (16), and Sion Jenkins (21) took the home side to 155-9, but they fell short thanks to decent spells from Geraint Phillips (2-20), Greg Sleep (2-32), Gethin Scourfield (3-32), and Jack Bowen (2-64).

At Pill Parks, Llangwm chased down Neyland's total of 132-4.

Scott John (62) and Geraint Rees (40 not out) formed the backbone of Neyland's innings, as Toby Asson (2-35), Johnnie Palmer (1-24), and
Sean Thomas (1-25) took Llangwm wickets.

And the home side then passed their target to reach 137-6, as james Venables top scored with 43, as Johnny Palmer (27), Jonathan Twigg (22) and Martin Thomas (20) also chipped in.

For Neyland, Rodney Murphy (2-8), Tom Pritchard (1-35), Geraint Rees (1-36), and Nathan Sutton (1-29) all tried hard in vain.

On Monday night, Lawrenny won at Carew.

The visitors scored 162-8, with Matthew Lewis (35) and Steve Campbell (33) leading the batting.

Carew didn't get close as they ended 125-6, despite 42 not out from James Hinchcliffe.

The semi finals will see Whitland play St Ishmaels at Llangwm on Tuesday, July 18 - and Llangwm play Lawrenny at Hook on Thursday, July 20.
