MILFORD Haven’s David ‘one more’ Round will again take to the ring on Saturday for a Professional Middleweight K1 Championship fight against Manchester’s Craig Hastings.

The bout is the main event at BUDO 22, that will take place at the LC2 Arena in Swansea.

But don’t expect to see the 30-year-old fight anytime after that, as he then extends to take an extended break from fighting to play a full rugby season with Milford Haven RFC.

And he admits he has made no final decision on where his fighting career will go thereafter.

“It does feel a bit weird and different this fight - because I still don’t know if I will finish for good afterwards,” he admitted.

“But I feel relaxed and training has gone well.”

Round admits he has done a lot of training alone in the build up, having set up his own garage gym.

“I’ve also done a lot of road running and hill sprints by where I live, and my dog Nahla has become a training partner,” he joked.

Round will again be cornered in Swansea by Sam Clark and Josh Ramage, with girlfriend Mandy Jenkins and a host of other family members travelling to support him.

Co-worker Martin Butland and a large number of other colleagues and friends will also be in attendance.

But Round readily admits he knows little about his opponent.

“I can’t find anything on him online or social media - so maybe he’s blocked me!

“That doesn’t bother me though, I will just go in and do my thing as usual.”

Round, of the Fight Agency, thanked sponsors LPA Impact, Support 81, Granicol Ltd, Bad Boy Supplements, L Greggain & Co Ltd, Steve Evans at Studio 9 Custom Tattoo, Training Mask, Stuart Lloyd Carpentry, Sweet Treat, JP Scaffolding, Battle Body Clothing, Ian Smith Builders and Pain Game.
