IT was a great weekend for the Milford Waterfront team and Saundersfoot siblings Sam and Daisy Coleman at the first ever P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Seas.

On the Saturday, the home Milford duo of Charles Morris and Andrew Foster took a resounding event lead, winning all three heats.

Their nearest rivals were reigning champions Pertemps (Sam and Daisy), with three second-place finishes.

But the American based Arthur J Gallagher team who stormed back on the Sunday, winning races four and five, but ran out of fuel in race six, leading to a victorious home finale for the Milford Waterfront team, and the weekend’s top podium spot.

Their result gave them third overall in the P1 Superstock UK standings.
Spirit of Inverclyde rounded off their debut campaign with second in the final race, whilst Pertemps nursed their boat home in last, knowing they would retain their P1 SuperStock UK title by purely completing the race.

It all added up to a fantastic weekend for Pembrokeshire supporters, with the Waterfront team celebrating an event win, and the Pertemps team a second successive Championship.
