Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League Division One:

Goodwick United 3-0 Milford United

A second half brace from Lee Hudgell helped send Goodwick back top of the table - but only after the home side had overcome a stubborn Milford United at Phoenix Park tonight.

Despite again fielding a young team, The Robins frustrated Wayne O'Sullivan's side for the first 45 minutes, with 16-year-old keeper Jack Nicholas again impressing.

But it was Hudgell who broke the deadlock from close range after the break, and Kieran O'Brien made it 2-0 after a good run and cross from Jonny Horgan.

Then in injury time, it was Hudgell who went clean through and after his first effort was blocked by Nicholas, the left winger made no mistake with the rebound.

The win takes Goodwick back top by three points from Hakin and next go to Pennar on Thursday - but The Vikings currently have three games in hand.

Milford meanwhile, remain above Herbie on goal difference, and will essentially be safe if the latter fail to get at least a point in their last game against Hakin.
