Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One:

Pennar Robins 1-8 Goodwick United

The gap between league leaders Goodwick United and second placed Hakin will be six points when the two sides meet in a pivotal clash next Tuesday night.

The Phoenix Boys have now played four more games than The Vikings, but took the chance to open up some daylight by backing their 3-0 win over Milford up two days ago with a rampant first half display at Bush Camp.

They led 6-0 at the interval, with the decision to deploy captain Adam Raymond as a striker paying off as he scored twice.

Brothers Scott and Matty Delaney also scored while Jonny Horgan and player-manager Wayne O'Sullivan completed a one sided 45 minutes with goals themselves.

The rout continued after the interval as Lee Hudgell made it seven and Raymond completed his hat trick - while Sam Southcott grabbed a consolation for Chris Lloyd's side.

It means that three days after The Vikings play Clarbeston Road in the Senior Cup final, they will host their main title rivals. And regardless of the games in hand, Kristan Bennett's team will not want to fall nine points off the pace as the frantic end of season fixtures continue.
