Division One West (Tuesday):

Crymych 50-5 Felinfoel

Crymych's amazing end to the season continued as they entertained confirmed section champions Felinfoel and not only beat them but scored a massive 50 points!

It was a great all-round team performance although coach Randall Williams was his usual pragmatic self as he told us: "I was delighted by the way we played but I know that they were resting several key players in readiness for the divisional play-offs but we can only play against what other teams provide - and in the first half we scored 33 points with some cracking rugby from forwards and backs."

Second row Llyr Davies and centre Carwyn Phillips caught the eye  and both got their names on the try sheet as outside half Jake Jenkins also played well in calling the shots as  well as converting six of the tries.

Other Crymych scorers were No 8 Osian Davies (2), flanker Aled Harries (2), and full back Nick Bevan, and all Felinfoel, who played a very young side as they prepare for the promotion play offs, could muster was an unconverted try.

Division Three West A:

Laugharne 46-7 Haverfordwest

Haverfordwest could manage only a bare 15 players for their match at Laugharne and paid the inevitable price as they were already 31-0 adrift at half time and could only muster seven points after the break.

Laugharne were almost at full strength and Mikey Williams was in the dominant mode that marks him out as the club’s top try scorer for the season, adding another brace to his impressive tally, with others from Ross Michael, which he also converted, Gethin Jones (2), Tomos Rees, Dai Thomas and skipper Carl Smith.

Tom Jameson also notched two conversions and the only Blues try came from Jon Morgan, converted by Liam Manwaring.
