Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League Division Three:

Carew 2nds 1-4 Camrose

After a 42 year wait, Camrose were able to celebrate lifting a league title last night as a win at Carew saw them crowned Division Three champions.

Jamie Gilderdale's men led 3-0 half time through Mikey Loveridge, Jordan Raymond, and an own goal - before Finn Thompson effectively made the points, and the silverware, safe with number four after the break.

Herbie Haggar did grab a consolation goal for The Rooks, who themselves have finished in fifth place.

Camrose are worthy winners of the title having won 19 and drawn one of their 22 league games, scoring 110 goals and conceding just 21 in the process.

Gilderdale had already assembled a promising young squad and this season, added experience to that with the signings of brother Simon, Matthew Price, and Kevin Phillips.

Indeed, the front three of Loveridge, Price, and Jordan Raymond have proved prolific, and the squad should compete well in Division Two next season.

Camrose: Geraint Sergeant, Jay Johnstone, Matt Dickinson, Simon Gilderdale, Kevin Phillips, James Williams, Calum Syddall, Finn Thompson, Mikey Loveridge, Jordan Raymond, Will Bateman. Subs: Matthew Price, Kieron Howells, Dan Phillips.

Broad Haven 16-0 Pendine

Joining Camrose in a higher league next season will be Broad Haven, who have added promotion to their third successive Third Division Cup win.

Manager Dave Sudbury said after that final on The Meadow that sealing a top two finish was still the club's priority, and they duly did that last night with a huge 16-0 win over Pendine.

Josh Beer grabbed six goals, Julian Wood and Jon Jones had hat tricks, with Spencer Le-Petit and Archie Thomas both scoring twice each.

That meant they jumped above Pennar 2nds, who have already completed their games, into second place.

Another win in Broad Haven's final game on Tuesday, their reverse fixture with Pendine, would see them finish on 56 points, just two off Camrose.

Sudbury's men have also been prolific, winning 17 and drawing two of their 21 games thus far, scoring 108 goals and conceding just 26.
