At exactly 06:59:53 on Sunday, May 13th, Sanna Duthie arrived at St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire having completed the Pembrokeshire Coast 100 mile Ultra Run in a new course record of 23:02:04.

Not only is this a new course record, but it is the first time a Run Walk Crawl event has been won by a female competitor.

Milford Haven based Sanna has already earlier in the season won the Pendine Ultra and will be seeking to be the first female to complete the Coast to Coast Ultra when she travels to the north of England in August.

“It was such a contrast to be running in the glorious sunshine in the afternoon and then the cold and dark of the night," she said.

"I was so lucky to have the support of my family along the way and now all my hard training has got me this special result. I feel exhausted and so happy at the same time.”
