Cresselly (271 for 5) beat Kilgetty (203 all out) by 68 runs
There were runs galore at Cresselly as the home side amassed a huge tally of 271 for 5 before Kilgetty showed true grit in giving chase before eventually being dismissed for over 200 runs with a side missing several key players.
Cresselly's score owed much to the quality batting of Dan Sutton (51), Adam Chandler (64), Iwan Izzard (53), Alex Bayley (34), Dan Cherry (36 not out) and Phil Williams (24 not out) as Kurtis Marsh claimed 1 for 47 and Liam Cullen showed he is more than a superb footballer with Swansea City with an excellent bowling spell that gave him figures of 4 for 63.
Cullen also featured with the bat as he contributed 44 to the Kilgetty cause as Kurtis Marsh (67), Ross Hardy (21), Kyle Marsh (33) and Anthony Lewis (14) were the other main scorers - but Dan James (2 for 25), Sion Jenkins (4 for 39, Ryan Lewis (1 for 27) and Iwan Izzard (2 for 30) claimed the wickets that gave Cresselly a deserved victory.
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Richard Scriven.
