Neyland Yacht Club have acquired some new equipment for the club juniors, thanks to Alstom Power Ltd.
The club recently recruited 35 young sailors into its well established RYA based training program.
A £500 cheque presentation was made by Phil Thompson, public relations manager of Alstom, for the club to put towards the provision of essential safety equipment.
Club principal Ben Ford said: “Safety on the water is paramount to us.
“The funding will be used to purchase VHF radios, first aid equipment and instructor training.”
