Changes in the Bluebirds’ camp
12:00pm Sunday 8th July 2012 in Pembrokeshire sports news
Training began on Saturday, June 20th for Haverfordwest County’s Welsh League squad.
With exception of the Griffiths brothers, Darren has moved to Aberystwyth and Dale to West End, last season’s squad remains intact.
However, three new players have signed for the club. The experience that Chris Holloway brings will be a great asset. He is a hard and skilful midfielder who has been a Llanelli regular for the past five years; he is also a Welsh semi-pro international. Antonio Faccinto is a young left-sided defender who impressed our managers last season when he was playing for Pontardawe Town and Stefan Williams has returned from Carmarthen Town. He has pace and the ability to score goals from either wing.
There are a few more signings expected in the next few weeks in readiness for the first pre-season friendly. Details of pre-season friendlies will appear in next week’s edition.
