WALES are looking to dig deep against Australia to secure fifth place in the World Rugby U20 Championship.

The Welsh youngsters play their final game of the tournament against the Aussies in Viadana on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2pm).

After bruising Pool One encounters with England and France then, after a drubbing of Japan, another fierce contest with Ireland the emphasis has been on rest and recuperation.

"It's a difficult tournament for the players, it's a big ask with five games in a short period of time," said coach Geraint Lewis.

"Some players are hurting physically and it also has its difficulties mentally. It's now about getting in as good a state as they can be for the last game to finish off with a bang."

Australia are favourites for the clash after enjoying victories against Italy, Samoa and Scotland, their sole defeat coming against a powerful South Africa side.

However, Wales are relishing the challenge of keeping an expansive side under wraps after playing some pretty enterprising stuff themselves in their 22-12 win against the Irish on Monday.

"We know that we have got our work cut out but it's exciting to play a team from the southern hemisphere and Australia historically are a good team to play against and we can enjoy a good game," said Lewis.

The final in Cremona sees New Zealand attempting to deny England a hat-trick of titles (kick-off 7.30pm).

- Youngsters will get the chance to lead a team out at the Rugby World Cup in Cardiff on Saturday courtesy of James Hook and Emirates.

The fly-half will be launching a flag hunt in the capital to give 14 to 16-year-olds the opportunity to play a role in the Millennium Stadium fixtures at England 2015.

Hopefuls will need to uncover the photographic clues shared on Emirates Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and find the flag in Cardiff between 9am and 9pm. Once located, entrants need to upload a flag selfie, using the #EmiratesFlag to be in with a chance to win.

Each valid entrant will also be entered into a draw to win the ultimate honour of leading out one of the world's best teams for the Final at Twickenham on 31 October.
