THE four Welsh regions are taking the Welsh Rugby Union to court over their failure to consult them about arranging a fourth November Test which they claim is outside the agreed international window.
Regional Rugby Wales issued a statement today claiming they had little choice because of a lack of consultation with them, and they say talks over a new participation agreement have failed.
The regions were granted an emergency court hearing on Friday in the High Court and today served the WRU with an order to force a full High Court trial before a fourth autuumn international can take place.
Regional Rugby Wales further accuses the WRU of adopting a master and slave approach towards them in their discussions and accuses them of refusing to join any partnership.
