Katie Holmes is to strut her stuff on US TV show So You Think You Can Dance.

The former Dawson's Creek actress - who is married to Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise - will perform a Judy Garland number during the show's 100th episode, producer Nigel Lythgoe has confirmed.

The actress will sing and dance to the Garland classic Get Happy.

Katie's TV cameo, to air Stateside on July 23, is to promote the new foundation she launched with Lythgoe and Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

The nonprofit organisation, called Dizzy Feet, aims to support dance education and programmes and talented dancers who can't afford training.
