Take That star Gary Barlow has revealed how Kate Bush rescued him from a low point in his life.
The man band songwriter reckoned the song Don't Give Up by Bush and Peter Gabriel was his most inspirational track after he chose it for a new book.
Gary said of the track: "I don't think you can listen to this song without feeling inspired, it could save anybody - the lyrics are so inspirational."
He and the band chose the song for a charity book, Inspired* By Music, which goes on sale on Friday and features choices by figures such as Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey and Sharon Osbourne. It raises money for The Princes Trust.
Gary added: "Specifically I was having a very low moment in the 1990s and the song came on the radio. There have only been a very few times when I've had to pull the car over to listen to a song - this was one of them."
However the choice wasn't unanimous. Howard Donald said: "It was a majority decision and I got out-voted. I would have chosen Someone Saved My Life Tonight by Elton John.
"Saying that, I really like the song and can see why it inspired Gary. If you're going through a low point in your life it's a beautiful song to sing."
Award-winning photographer Cambridge Jones took portraits of the stars who have contributed to the book, which has been sponsored by Starbucks and will be sold by the coffee firm, as well as by bookshops.
