Police are hunting the killers of a 24-year-old man who was shot dead.
Witnesses said the man was shot three or four times in an alleyway before he managed to clamber over a wall and in to a garden in Newtown, Birmingham.
A 23-year-old woman, who lives close to where the shooting happened, said: "I was outside but I didn't see what happened.
"I heard some things, that there were three or four gun shot wounds and that it was about an hour-and-a-half until he was found.
"People said he clambered in to a garden and fell in to the garden. It didn't happen down there, it happened in an alleyway at the back.
"He (the victim) usually doesn't get mixed up in these kind of things."
West Midlands Police said they were called to Hockley Close at 10.15pm on Saturday.
The man was taken to City Hospital where he later died.
It is the third fatal shooting in the Newtown area in less than a year.
