Another Wayne Rooney double helped sweep Manchester United back to the Premier League summit with a 3-0 victory over Fulham at Old Trafford.

After a goalless first-half against Fulham, Rooney took just 29 seconds of the second period to break the deadlock.

The in-form striker then belted home his 32nd goal of the season seven minutes from time before Dimitar Berbatov ended a frustrating afternoon by finally getting his name on the scoresheet.
