PETERS William George Douglas Peacefully at Torestin Nursing Home on Friday 28th June 2019 William George Douglas Peters of Haverfordwest aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite, much loved father of Lynette and the late Elspeth, loving grandfather of Laura, Mark and David and great grandfather of Charlie and Joseph. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 17th July, 1:00pm at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth. Family flowers only. Grandad George, we will miss you forever, but will look back with great fondness. You were a truly inspirational man, full of integrity & loyalty. I looked up to you for all my life.
I so very sad that I won’t hear your voice again. I won’t hear you recount a wonderful tale. I won’t feel your arms around me when we hugged goodbye & I won’t hear you say ‘don’t kill any cats now darlin’.
You were a legend, my legend & my hero. You were loved by all & will be missed by so many, especially me.
I know I will see you again one day.
