Mr. Roy Jones Pembroke The death occurred peacefully at Ashdale Care Home, Pembroke on Tuesday 7th. September of Mr. Roy Jones of Upper Lamphey Road, Pembroke. Devoted husband of Margaret and a much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was 93. Roy will be fondly remembered by many as the former Chief Executive Officer of South Pembs. District Council. Due to the current restrictions still in place, the funeral will take place with a private cremation on Friday 17th September. This will be followed by a reception at Pembroke Rugby Club from 3pm to which all are welcome. Immediate family flowers only please but if desired, donations in lieu in memory of Roy for Ashdale may be sent to John Roberts & Son, Funeral Directors, 51, Bush Street, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6AN, Tel. 01646 683115, who are carrying out the arrangements.
