Dear Adam, am I correct in thinking that you are Adam Gent, the past deputy head boy of MH School, along with my daughter Bryony, who was head girl? If so, then I think I must be right that Ian was your father?
On that dangerous assumption, may I convey our sincerest condolences to you all at this sad time. And if I have the relationship incorrect, please forgive me, although the sentiments are identical.
Sincerely yours, Patrick. (Patrick Edgington)
