THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (FERRY LANE (A4139), PEMBROKE DOCK) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 201-
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council propose to make an Order
under Sections 1(1), and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"") the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle proceeding north along Ferry lane (A4I39) making a right hand turn onto the eastbound carriageway of London Road (TRA477), Pembroke Dock.
The restriction will form an integral part of the proposed signalisation of the London Road /
Ferry Lane junction by removing the need for a right turn phase. This will reduce the complexity of the timings, thereby enabling both the configuration of the layout (including
pedestrian crossings), and the operation ofthe junction to be improved.
Full details of the Order together with a map indicating the length of road affected and a statement
of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Offices of
Pembrokeshire County Council, County Hall, Haverfordwest during normal offices hours.
lf you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for objection in
writing to the undersigned by 19th day of January 2017, or e.mail to Traffic@pembrokeshire.gov.uk quoting reference (FERRYLN NRT).
