Rosebush is a small village on the southern slopes of the Preseli Hills in north Pembrokeshire and its origins lie in the development of large slate quarries in these hills. The Preseli Hotel and fish ponds were built in 1876 in an attempt to attract tourists to Rosebush on the newly built railway. The hotel still survives today as the welcoming and nostalgic Tafarn Sinc pub, which serves wonderful home cooked meals using the best of local produce. The fishponds are now a feature of Rosebush Holiday Park.
