CLARBESTON Road’s Memorial Hall will be bursting with laughter on Saturday, October 12.

A comedy night featuring four highly acclaimed acts is being held to raise money for the village’s football club.

They include Jeremy O’Donnell, who mixes sharp one-liners with friendly storytelling and sparkling off the cuff wit.

His cheeky smile and friendly nature have endeared him to audiences all over Britain and Europe.

Colin Manford is the younger brother of TV comic Jason Manford, who started his own stand-up career in 2007 and is now a circuit regular.

The writer, actor and presenter loves to tell stories from his own unique perspective, with all areas covered from his failed relationships to his weird and wonderful family.

Nicky Wilkinson is an actress and comedian, who over the years has been involved in sketch and improvisational comedy, alongside a vast array of more traditional acting roles.

Instantly likeable, her warm, open, style puts audiences at ease and eager to laugh.

And last but not least is Ro Campbell, a UK-based Aussie comic whose brand of cheeky and dark humour has wowed audiences everywhere from Adelaide to Helsinki.

He has performed at the last seven Edinburgh Fringe festivals.

A bar has been applied for and doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased by calling June on 01437 731574 or Jenny on 01437 731313.
