CAN you sing, dance or act (when not under the influence of Christmas cheer)? If so, then Saundersfoot Footlights would like you to have a happy new year and join them for their next show - especially if you're a budding Thespian in the more mature age group.

Having recently completed a successful week of panto with their production of Cinderella, Footlights are now turning their attention to bringing another home-grown story to live.

Rose's Garden has been written by Footlights' own Allison Butler, and is a modern-day tale which follows Rose as she spends her twilight years in a retirement home, where she is hiding a big secret.

The show will feature a whole host of the very best numbers from the West End and Broadway delivered by the cast - and, given the setting of Rose's Garden, some more mature cast members are being sought to join the younger element.

So to anyone who fears they may have left it too late to try treading the boards, this is the show for you!

Auditions are open to anyone aged 14 and over, and will be held at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot on Saturday January 6 at 1pm.

Footlights' shows are renowned for their excellent sets, costume and tech, and so the group would also like to hear from people intereting in helping behind the scenes and front of house .
