Two of the finest jazz guitarists in the UK, Pete Oxley and Nic Meier, bring their quartet to SpanJazz's monthly gig in Narberth on Thursday, March 27.
This unique jazz group uses an array of exotic string instruments, drawing from a love of Turkish, Eastern and Middle Eastern music, flamenco, tango – all mixed with jazz.
Pete Oxely regularly performs with some of the world’s leading jazz artists including Chris Garrick, Gilad Atzmon, Tim Whitehead, Dave O’Higgins and John Etheridge.
Nick Meier was recently the guitarist in guitar supremo Jeff Beck’s band and has recently recorded a stunning album with the A-lister rhythm section of Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets) and Vinnie Coliauta (Sting, Frank Zappa etc).
