SOAK up the last of the long summer evenings with a special outdoor screening of Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) at Cardigan Castle on Saturday, August 24.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury.

Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.

The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound to one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music with the 1985 Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium.

Bohemian Rhapsody has received numerous accolades, including a leading four awards at the 91st Academy Awards for Best Actor (Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury), Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing.

It was also nominated for Best Picture, losing that award to Green Book.

Bring blankets or chairs to sit on (and plenty of warm clothes!) and get ready to singalong with the soundtrack, all in the gorgeous surroundings of Cardigan Castle.

This will be an open air event and in the case of bad weather, the screening will be rescheduled.

With support from Torch Theatre, Milford Haven.

Tickets for Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) at Cardigan Castle (doors open at 7.30pm, screening starts at 8.30pm) are £10 in advance (£12 on the door) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at mwldan.co.uk or via the Mwldan app.
