ANGLE lifeboat came to the aid of a yacht and its three person crew after it broke down north west of Skomer Island on Monday afternoon.
The distress call was received at around 4pm and the Irish Ferry Isle of Inishmore diverted from her passage to Rosslare to assist.
A RIB (rigid inflatable boat) in the area also arrived on scene, and on the arrival of the lifeboat the the ferry was able to continue on her passage.
The RIB transferred two of the lifeboat crew to the yacht, and two of the yacht crew to the lifeboat.
The stricken vessel was then towed to Neyland at around 8pm.
