CALLING all hardy athletes! It’s time to sign up for the Broad Haven Xmas Pudding Run 2015 at www.xmaspuddingrun.co.uk.
Taking place at noon on December 13, entry costs £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for independent runners (for insurance purposes). You have until midnight on December 4 to register, as no entries will be taken on the day this year.
All runners will get a Christmas pudding on crossing the 10k course’s finish line, plus a complimentary mulled wine and mince pie at the village’s Ocean Cafe Bar. Optional souvenir T-shirts can be purchased when you enter.
All proceeds raised at the event will go to Broad Haven Playgroup, a registered charity.
The Playgroup will donate some of the money to Bowel Cancer UK in memory of local mum Nadine Vane, who sadly lost her battle with bowel cancer in August this year.
