SHOW how much you love Pembrokeshire’s coast by taking part in a beach clean organised by the local branch of Surfers Against Sewerage (SAS).
Happening at Newgale beach from 10am on Saturday, November 7, the event is part of the SAS Autumn Beach Clean series, which in turn is part of the charity’s wider mission to reduce litter on UK beaches by 50% by 2020.
All equipment required for cleaning up Newgale will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves, rubbish bags and so on if you prefer.
In 2014 alone, over 9715 people volunteered at 335 SAS beach cleans across the UK and removed almost 60 tonnes of rubbish.
Help break last year’s record! Every piece of litter collected counts.
