There are just a few days left for supporters of community arts organisation Span Arts to back its crowdfunding campaign which it hopes will help it to keep down ticket prices.

Over 50 events a year - including live music, comedy, theatre for adults and families, workshops and events - are put on by the Narberth-based Span Arts.

But the economic climate and cuts in arts funding are making it difficult to retain the current affordable prices of tickets.

“We’ve been lucky to receive lots of very generous donations so far, but we still need some help,” said Span Arts manager Gwen Watson. “If all our friends gave just £5, we’d reach our target in no time.

“The good news is, we receive all funds that our donated, regardless of our total. So every pound makes a real difference.

“This campaign is vital and will help Span Arts continue to deliver our fantastic programme of events and activities, and maintain some of the lowest ticket prices in the country.”

Rewards for donating include handmade medals from the Cheerful Project team, free weekend festival tickets for Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival 2016, backstage passes and Span Arts t shirts.
