BIRMINGHAM City midfielder Charlie Cooper has penned a one-month loan deal at Forest Green Rovers.
Son of former Forest Green midfielder and ex-Swindon Town manager Mark, Cooper is an 18-year-old creative midfielder, who is a first year professional at St Andrews.
He came through the same City youth system that produced Demarai Gray, who joined Leicester City for £3.7 million this month.
The Cooper dynasty also boasts grandfather Terry, who played for England, Leeds and managed Birmingham, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
Cooper junior is expected to feature in the squad for today’s match against Braintree Town.
