THE committee of Clarbeston Road Football Club recently presented a cheque for £4,634 to the Adam’s Bucketful of Hope appeal.

The 13th annual Michael Thomas Memorial Football Tournament, known locally as 'Sticky's comp’ was played during the first week of August.

A BBQ, raffle and beer festival was organised at The Cross Inn afterwards, courtesy of Wayne and Emma, raising a total of £914.

Delwyn and Jenny Lewis' open garden in Wiston raised £2,640, with local banks generously providing match funding of £1,080.

Cheques were presented to Chris Evans-Thomas, who set up Adam’s Bucketful of Hope in memory of her son, at the charity shop coffee morning.
