A WOMAN is in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a car crash on the A40 near Trecwn on Friday.
She is in a stable condition and her injuries are not life threatening.
The police and fire crews from Haverfordwest and Fishguard were called out at 4.50pm to attend the collision involving a grey Peugeot 207 and a blue Ford Focus. The Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
Vehicles were diverted through Twecwn with the road remaining closed throughout Friday evening.
A man was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Anyone with information, or was travelling on that stretch of road at the time, is asked to contact PC 3 Louise Thomas on 101.
