THE car will be star once again when Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club holds its annual show at Scolton Manor on Sunday, June 4.

The show starts at 10.30am.

In addition to many classic motors at the Cardigan Road show, there will be motorcycles, tractors, commercials, static engines, a display of military vehicle, rally cars and even autojumble stalls to complete your own classic.

Programmes will be on sale at the entrance and around the showground, priced at £1, complete with a free ticket for a pre-drawn raffle, with prizes at the secretary’s marquee.

The family day out has plenty of other attractions, including rides, face-painting, and a balloon stall, with two surprise guests for the youngsters.

There’s also plenty for non-enthusiasts, with craft stalls, trade stalls, and a car boot sale, and plenty of food and drink.

Further attractions this year include a model boat display, and plans for a ukulele band.

The show is regularly attended by some 3,500 members of the public, and last year, saw 600 entrants from Wales, Ireland and England; with £8,000 raised for local charities.

This year, the club is supporting Paul Sartori and the Pembrokeshire branch of Macmillan.

Entry forms are available from Peter Badham on 01834 812 132.

In the run-up to the show, a classic car run, organised by Celtic Charity Classic Tours, is taking place on Saturday, June 3, starting from Scolton Manor at 11am.

Entry to the run is £5, with funds raised going to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young.
