POLICE have closed off a footbridge over the river in Haverfordwest following an incident in the early hours of the morning.
Unconfirmed reports on social media have claimed Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating an assault which happened late last night.
The police cordon prevents members of the public from accessing the footbridge over the Western Cleddau which leads from Bridge Street to the Riverside Shopping Centre.
