The family of an animal lover killed in a suspected murder have paid trubute to her.

Fiona Scourfield, 54, was found dead at a farm between St Clears and Laugharne last week.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with her murder.

Ms Scourfield's family, said: “We are distraught by our loss. Fiona will be missed by us all.

"Fiona was a loving and caring person, who will be remembered for her kindness, especially her kindness to animals.

"As an active member of the German Shepherd rescue Fiona spent her time rescuing and rehoming dogs. "Fiona was a talented ceramicist.

"We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant so much to the whole family.

"We would now like time to grieve and would ask to be given privacy to do so."
