A SOUTH Wales man has the threat of nearly a year in jail after been caught with more than £6,700 worth of cannabis near Kilgetty.
Lewis Tilley, 27, of The Crescent, Trencenydd, Caerphilly was stopped in a car on a westward layby of the A477 near East Williamston, Kilgetty on November 26, 2016.
Appearing at Swansea Crown Court on May 8, Tilley admitted possession with intent to supply 671g of cannabis in Pembrokeshire.
Courts place a ‘street’ value on cannabis at £10 per gram.
Tilley was sentenced to 328 days in jail, suspended for 18 months, and was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work.
