BET you wish you could sing like this after a couple of drinks!

This is Rhys McLoughlin of Fishguard's emotional rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, which has had more than 100,000 views on Facebook in less than 48 hours.

"It has been a massive shock," said Rhys.

Rhys held a barbecue for friends and family on Monday night, where he was encouraged to show off his amazing talent for singing after a few rum and cokes.

The company rep is well-known as Rhys Tyres throughout north Pembrokeshire for his aptitude for song.

Now the rest of the world has had a taste of his gift too, with more than 100,000 people having viewed the video in only two days.

Anthony Jones, who took the video, only shared it with friends via Whatsapp groups, but another of Rhys' friends, Dylan Thomas decided it was worth a share on Facebook.

"He is such a character," said Anthony.

"He has an amazing singing voice, but he can be a bit shy about his talent sometimes."

What happened next was a complete shock to all of them.

The video was posted on Tuesday (June 5), and when the friends had gone to bed on Wednesday, it had been seen 5,000 times.

"When we went to bed on Wednesday, we did not expect to wake up and see that more than 25,000 people had seen it this morning."

"People have viewed it in Kansas, Spain, and South Africa!" said Anthony.

The views have kept building and building throughout the day, and Rhys has had offers to sing at concerts, including with the Treorchy Male Voice Choir.

When he auditioned for The Voice a few years ago, a video of his on Facebook reached 23,000 views.

"This has just gone completely off the scale by comparison," he said.

There has been a suggestion that Rhys should audition for Les Mis when it comes to Cardiff...

"I would definitely give it a cop," he said.

"My wife has always said I should use my voice, maybe it is time to do something with it."

Rhys will be appearing at a production of My Fair Lady in Rhosygilwen next month in the role of Freddy.
