TWO south Pembrokeshire men are to stand trial accused of bogus charity collections.
Clifford Elias Evans, aged 48, of Pennant Avenue, Saundersfoot, and Luke Nicholas Evans, 25, of Kingsmoor Common, Kilgetty, denied two charges of fraud by falsely representing that they were authorised to collect money on behalf of the charity MIND.
Swansea crown court heard on Monday, August 20, that the alleged offences took place on December 16 and December 18, 2017.
Judge Keith Thomas ruled that they would stand trial on a date to be fixed but scheduled a further hearing for August 29.
Both men were granted bail meanwhile.
