There were striking scenes as 1st Battalion Royal Welsh exercised the Freedom of Pembroke today (Saturday).
Crowds lined the streets to welcome the troops as the colourful parade marched through the town, led by the regimental band.
The regiment was inspected by Mayor Linda Brown as it stood to attention in the grounds of Pembroke Castle.
Following the ceremony, locals and visitors witnessed 1st Battalion Royal Welsh march through Main Street with colours flying.
