TENBY Male Choir has just taken delivery of its own AED defibrillator.

The purchase was made possible thanks to funding from the Friends of Tenby Male Choir, with support from Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders.

A training session on CPR and the use of the defibrillator was given to 12 choristers and partners, as the portable machine will travel wherever the choir goes.

In the event of a casualty in the choir or an audience, a trained chorister will be on hand to help and offer assistance.

Choir chairman David Blackmore and chorister David Stewart-Walvin, who organised the project, have now taken delivery of the machine from Tony Wall of Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders.

The choir will perform in St Mary's Church, Tenby tomorrow (Thursday) as part of Tenby Arts Festival week. They will be joined by talented 11-year-old pianist, Elizabeth Morgan.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
