TENBY@S all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch yesterday (Saturday) evening following reports of people cut off by the tide.
The Tenby boat had been called to assist Burry Port D Class lifeboat which was paged by Milford Haven Coastguards to help a dog walker in distress.
Coastguards had been contacted by other dog walkers at 7.23pm to report the paircut off by the incoming tide.
The casualty, along with Rigby the Labrador, were eventually rescued by the Burry Port boat and the Tenby crew was stood down minutes before launching.
