THERE was a great turnout for Haverfordwest Fire Station open day last week -- and here are some photos to remember the day!
The event was raising funds for The Fire Fighters Charity and Paul Sartori at the station built in 1957.
Crowds gathered at the recently refitted station to find out more about the history of the service and watch some impressive fire and rescue displays.
As well as a chip pan fire demonstration visitors enjoyed a fire pump display, aerial rescue platform demonstration, a casualty rescue from height and a fire bike race.
There was also a firefighter being rescued by youngsters from water as well as police officers on duty.
Add in some fairground rides and the chance to have a go at putting out your own 'fire' ensured there was fund and games for everyone.
